A record of our journey — five gatherings across India, each building on the last. Every meeting has widened the network, deepened shared understanding and coordinated concrete action for peace.
The founding gathering of Peacebuilders Forum — where practitioners, educators, activists, faith leaders and young people came together for the first time to build a collective voice for peace.
The second gathering widened the network and deepened shared understanding, coordinating concrete action on live conflicts across Rajasthan and beyond.
A special mission where Forum members entered relief camps on both sides of the conflict, listened to displaced families, facilitated interfaith dialogue and built channels of communication.
The Kannur gathering focused on reducing cycles of political violence in Kerala, bringing together community workers and peacebuilders for interfaith dialogue and cross-community action.
Forum members coordinated relief, peace training and cross-community meetings across the northeast during some of the most difficult periods of conflict in the region.
Hosted at the Gandhi Research Foundation, the fifth gathering launched the Women's Peacebuilders Commission, constituted a Youth Peace Platform and set plans for peace education and international solidarity.
The sixth assembly of Peacebuilders Forum is being planned. Stay connected for announcements and updates.
